About us.......

Salto Gymnastics Club is open to children aged 4 - 16 years. We offer gymnastics  classes to all abilities

and the clubs main aim is to develop the gymnast to the best of their ability through dedication, support and encouragement.

We will offer your child enjoyable gymnastic sessions in a great facility to progress at their own pace in safety. To help build confidence in a friendly environment and encourage children to establish a healthy lifestyle.

About me – Claire Smith

Club Owner & Head Coach

I have many years experience in the sport of Gymnastics and have taken part in it for most of my life.

I trained in Artistic Gymnastics from the age of 5 and later went on to become part of the regional squad where I competed in many regional and national competitions. I completed all of my grades up to the Elite Grade.

I have coached for the past 22  years at various clubs where I have worked as an Assistant coach, Senior Coach and Club Manager. I currently have my UKCC level 2 General Gymnastics qualification and have completed many modules of the UKCC level 3 General Gymnastics. I am a qualified Club Judge .

 Since opening Salto GC in November 2013  I have also worked towards and received the clubs GymMark accreditation. Salto GC are affiliated with IGA UK.
